Predictions?

Will Wick vs Massa happen?

This one could really get ugly.
I’ll say 36-3 Michigan

I watched the Penn State vs. Michigan match yesterday and
for sure Michigan has several real studs in the lineup.  Coon is
the real deal.

I watched it too, no holes in that lineup.  I think I counted 8 out if the 10 are ranked.   Coon would’ve been a National Champ already, if it wasn’t for that other guy from Ohio.

Donny really got that program going in the right direction before he left.  Now he has Rutgers on the rise.  Oh what could have been!

Omg.... so Donny made Coon and Abounader what they are? Micic and Beazley are transfers but I'm sure Donny made them good too. Martin, Profaci, one Amine brother, and Massa all came after he left. So Pantaleo had his redshirts season with Donny but all his greatness rubbed off on the other 9 guys? 9 of Michigans 10 starters either werent there or had 1 year with Donny. You can't give Donny credit for everything good that happens. Ever think that maybe it's Goodale who has Rutgers on the rise considering he is the head coach.

Michigan really wrestled well against PSU, giving 3 returning national champs a run for their money. I still can't believe Abounader was denied a takedown at the end against Nickal. I can't see Massa ducking Wick, he went out against Joseph after some time off, and wrestled him tough for the most part. I think Wick vs. Massa happens, at least I hope it does. The Badgers will be battling a very good team, it could get ugly real fast. They will have to wrestle their butts off to compete with that line-up.

Agree Abounader had a takedown twice! Along with Hall and Nolf having very close matches.

Donny single handily brought the new state of the art wrestling facility to Michigan, changed the culture, made them relevant again.

Donny was here when we were relevant.

He is now making Rutgers relevant, not Goodale.

Whats the common denominator?

Single handily brought the facility to Michigan? Now you sound stupid. The facility was built in 2010. In 2010 Donny was coaching at Wisconsin, so how did he single handily bring in the new facility, change the culture, and make them relevant while at Wisconsin?

He told them he would come to Michigan if they built it.

But thanks for the insult... what are you, 12?

Okay. Big Donny fan, here. Loved him as a wrestler and a coach. No way in heck does a university build a facility to attract an asst. coach. He's a good coach, I'm sure. You're stretching just a bit. But, go on. If he single handedly changed the wrestling culture in Michigan; why didn't they offer him the head job? I would think that'd be a bitter gig than Rutgers. Why isn't he HC there?

So, even if they offered Him the HC job at WI, he was gone anyway. Michigan built a facility for him.

I wanted Donny to stick around and take over, too; but it didn't happen and we wouldn't be thumpin' our way to the top if he'd stayed. Might be better than we are, might be worse. Hope He lives a good life.

You often times bring up good points; but this "Donny P" fiction you're talking is a little hard to swallow.

I'm not going to say another word about it.  I'll just leave it at that.

Gonna miss that guy! One of the greats. I get Donny is a good coach, but some people thinks he walks on water.
