I know Alex Derringer won (I think 3 titles) but has anyone else that went to high school in WI won a D1 championship?

The Badgers first National Champion, Rick Lawinger, was from Mineral Point. The second Badger National Champion, Jack Reinwand wrestled for Wisconsin Rapids. Pat Christenson was the third for Bucky. He went to high school in Oak Creek. Jim Haines took a national title. He was from Arcadia. Ron Jeidy took one home, who is a native of Fennimore. Andy Rein, a Stoughton native, got a NCAA crown for the Badgers.

I feel a little stupid missing Cole Konrad, who won two titles for Minnesota, since I've known him since I was 5.

Tim Hartung won two titles.  Peterson.  Henning should have won, but got screwed in the finals.

Tim Hartung won two titles for Minnesota at 197 in 1998 & 1999. He was from Durand, WI.

Ben Peterson won two titles for Iowa State at 190 in 1971 & 1972. He wrestled for Cumberland. I didn't know either of these guys was from WI before jchap tipped me off. Muchas Gracias!
