Eli's cousin just won Walsh Ironman at 138.  Anyone know if he is interested in coming here?

Hope so. There's another Stickley at Iowa who isn't having a ton of success, so they'll likely be calling for Brands firing at some point. At least we have stability here.  Grin

He's a fill in until they pull Spencer Lee's redshirt.  I saw Stickley beat Maryland's 125 yesterday.  He's a tough kid!

If I have the family tree right, Justin (@ Iowa) and JD (@ Graham) are brothers. Eli is the cousin. I saw an Isaiah Stickley on the Graham roster as well, at 132. Who knows where he fits in! (Also, I saw a "Luka Wick from San Marino, CA" win one match in JD's bracket, so there were multiple family trees in the Ironman 138 bracket.)

You don't see siblings split up too often, but we're getting Joey Sanchez out of that room in 2018 (lost in the quarters to the eventual champ & #1 ranked David Carr). Maybe there's a relationship there, akin to Zeke Jordan & Ryan Taylor, that could lure JD to UW! That he's uncommitted this late in the process is surprising.

The Lantz brothers are doing it right now - Jens at the UW and Andres over at SDSU.

It’s a gift. The effectiveness is clearly lacking.

Not to worry.  This forum serves as a developmental league.

More congress than progress sadly.

If it's any consolation, ghetto, I caught your sarcasm and even chuckled. Not a belly laugh; but a chuckle. Hey, a chuckle's sumthin'.

Sometimes, I find it crazy how much one day of wrestling can help your ranking, but nationwide, there just aren't many good barometers.
