I see Maryland has guys ranked at 133 (20th), and HWT (13).

I have to believe the Badgers win this one by a bunch.  I'll say Badgers 23-6.

My Dish network guide says it's on the Big Ten channel at 8:00 that night.

23 plus 6 = 29

10 weights at 3 points each = 30

hmmm,  fuzzy math   Huh

We were deducted a team point for Barry going ballistic on a non stalling call.

I'll take the over, and guesstimate 41 total.

Northwestern 34, Maryland 12
125: #12 Sebastian Rivera (NU) Fall Brandon Cray (UMD), 5:53 | NU 6, UMD 0
133: Colin Valdiviez (NU) maj. dec. Jhared Simmons (UMD), 10-0 | NU 10, UMD 0
141: Alec McKenna (NU) dec. Peter Tedesco (UMD), 4-1 | NU 13, UMD 0
149: #7 Ryan Deakin (NU) Fall Adam Whitesell (UMD), 3:56 | NU 19, UMD 0
157: Kyle Cochran (UMD) dec. Shayne Oster (NU), 9-3 | NU 19, UMD 3
165: Brendan Burnham (UMD) dec. Michael Sepke (NU), 3-2 | NU 19, UMD 6
174: Johnny Sebastian (NU) Fall Josh Ugalde (UMD), 3:57 | NU 25, UMD 6
184: #18 Mitch Sliga (NU) maj. dec. Spencer Woods (UMD), 10-1 | NU 29, UMD 6
197: Zack Chakonis (NU) Tech. Fall Niko Cappello (UMD), 16-0 (4:31) | NU 34, UMD 6
285: #12 Youssif Hemida (UMD) Fall #19 Conan Jennings (NU), 5:25 | NU 34 | UMD 12

I see us winning every every weight but 133 and HWT potentially. 133 would be a tossup. So I would predict something along the lines of 34-9(Stone FF).

I've seen three Terapin duals this year.  Cray at 125 is the real deal!  He's flashy and fun to watch always going for the big move!  He's likely to pin or get pinned trying.  Of their multiple 33 pounders, none are good.  Diehl at 141 is fun to watch.  He has an awesome crab ride and goes for the big move every time!  49 is weak unless Bannister returns but I don't think he'll be back until January from talking to McKoy.  Kyle Cochran at 57 is a true freshmen from NJ.  Long and lanky and is going to be real good.  Nothing flashy just solid and tough!  At 65 Burnham was not good early in the season against George Mason and Campbell, but seems to have picked it up quite a bit since then.   At 74, 84, 97 I believe  Badgers should win big going away.  As posted previously Hemida at heavyweight is tough!  Should be a great match for Stone.

On paper we should handle them nicely. Just gotta watch out for big moves. Hoping Stone brings it on against their main big stud. Also hoping to see the whole badger team go into attack mode. Just fire off several good shots, go for pins, techs etc.

I have not watched him so if he is legit that could be a loss for us. So 125, 133, and HWT are the three weight classes I would look at. Really hoping we get some clarification on Jiminez. Feel like he would be a for sure win for us.

Nice showing by Bucky so far. Nice job of sticking with it by Rotondo at 125. Lantz was aggressive at all the right times. Stickley looked really tough at 141 (though the young man from Maryland did appear to hurt his shoulder early). Spray with a hard-fought win at 149. Anybody have any idea where Zander is tonight?

Overall I'm impressed with the aggression from the Badgers lightweights

Now that it's over, I would say that the Badgers did what they should have done. Stone certainly had his hands full, Maryland's heavyweight came out and wrestled angry. If any of the other matches were disappointing, I would say maybe Robertson only winning via decision but a shutout is a shutout.
I can't really remember a night when the Badgers looked as tough on top as they did tonight

Very nice results!  Cray has beaten some ranked guys so Rotundo's win is big in my book and Diehl was ranked 13 I believe.  I'm watching the dual tonight so don't have any idea about the injury.  Diehl has been tough the times I've seen him wrestle. Upper weights were what I expected.  Badgers taking care of business!

Diehl was 11. That injury was overblown in my opinion. He didn't look hurt he looked like he needed a break. Stickley dominated him, but was helped out by Diehl going for two big moves. That is what Diehl does though.
