106-Grzybowski, Fischer, Kilty
113-Wusterbarth, Drexler, Kedrowicz
120-Shoenfuss, Theobald, Boldt
126-Schoenherr, Baldwin, Kohls
132-Kelsey, Siolka, Marten/Snortum/Ellenbecker
138-Van Straten, Wenzel, Retza
145-Engel, Blanchard, Peckham
152-Kauffman, Lansin, Reif
160-Banker, Young, Cole
170-Holderman, Westfall, Milhans
182-Bornbach, Gomm, Stodola
195-Fielding, Villnow, Heidmann
220-Venzke, Zeitler, Kicherer
285-Salewski, Kauffman, Gunderson

A few notable things I have in mind.
1️⃣132 is the deepest weight class at this sectional!
2️⃣160 is maybe the most open weight class. In my mind anyone could go 1,2,3 just no clear favorites.
3️⃣Look for the two state champ favorites Bornbach and Fielding to be tested. I think Gomm will test Bornbach to a point, and I think Villnow gives Fielding another respectable match.

4️⃣Last but not least, as always look for some "unthinkable" upsets.

Can't wait for Saturday! Good luck to all wrestlers on your quest for greatness!

Just at first glance, this is what I see happening at this sectional.  Stratford will more then likely have the most state qualifiers with probably about 8-10 qualifying for state.  Coleman will be closely nipping at their heels and might even fall into the same state qualifier range as Stratford.  Shiocton looks like they are going to send 4-6 guys to Madison this year and a team that has been flying under the radar that is quite solid is Athens.  According to my sources, they have some solid guys on that team and should not be overlooked.  As always, there are going to be some great weight classes and match ups come Saturday.  Everyone has to be looking forward to Grzybowski vs Kilty round 2.  That could be one for the ages.  Then you got weight classes like 120 and 132 that are just meat grinders and who doesn't like to see those.  Come Saturday, dreams will be made, hearts will be broken, and mere boys will become legends.

How about another rematch between Fielding and Villnow?  Or Engel vs Blanchard looks to be a prime time match up as well

Don't be surprised if Fischer comes out on top at 106. He hasn't been beat at 106 in high school.  I would add Kempf to the numbered steps for 113. Remember Kicherer at 220. Could be a sleeper.

That 3rd place position in the 152 bracket is open as well.  It will be interesting to see who can wrestle their way back for a trip to Madison as Kauffman and Lansin seem like locks for 1 and 2.

Everyone is a sleeper at 220 this year, it's anyone's weight class.  220 is about as wide open as any weight class could be.  After watching Kempf throw a fit last weekend at regionals, I don't think he has the toughness to make the state tournament.
